gainax will produce an anime of the manga gold ring

Akira Himekawa, pseudonym of the creative duo A. Honda and S. Nagano, announced on his blog on 19 June that the Gainax studio will produce an anime based on the manga Gold Ring.
The curious thing is that, being a work conceived in Arabic, the production will take place in the UAE under the supervision of Gainax. The project is still in planning, will be the first of its kind and will feature the collaboration of Himekawa. Gold Ring began publication in 2006.
