The series will debut this fall as part of the three animated projects to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Gundam universe, the other two being the final episode of Gundam Unicorn and the first part of the movie Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin. The story is set in the Reguild Century, a Universal Century classical era, and will follow the adventures of a rookie driver named Beruri Zenamu in Capital Guard, an organization that protects a space elevator. Kenichi Yoshida is in charge of designing the characters, while the mechanical designs are provided by Akira Yasuda, Ippei Gyoubu and Kimitoshi Yamane. On the other hand, Yuugo Kanno has been chosen to compose the soundtrack of the series.
