This second season will adapt "Phantom Bullet", the fifth and sixth novels in the original story of Reki Kawahara. It will be seen via streaming worldwide.
Yoshitsugu Matsuoka reprise his role as Kirito, while Miyuki Sawashiro will be the voice of Sinon.
The history of this 2.nd season is
Phantom Bullet takes place one year after the completion of Sword Art Online. Kirito gets a call from Seijiro Kikuoka a government researcher, who speaks of a strange case involving the Gun Gale Online game. Within the game there is a player named Death Gun with a dangerous ability: When you kill a player in the game, it also kills the player controls in the real world.
Kirito will be introduced in Gun Gale Online to discover why Gun Death can do that and stop him. He meets a sniper called Sinon that will help in your mission. Objective?? Enroll in the tournament, "Bullet of Bullets" will serve to find the most powerful handle all Gun Gale Online with Gun Death hope that you consider a worthy goal.
The series will be directed by Tomohiko Ito on A-1 Pictures having character designs Shingo Adachi. Aoi Eir put the opening to the series. The singer Haruna Moon put the ending.
